Originally from Oklahoma City, OK, Sonya currently serves the Abilene and surrounding area as a part-time dietitian for Odom RD. Sonya moved to Abilene where she met her husband, started a family, and attended Abilene Christian University. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, and later combined Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship. Sonya also worked as a teaching assistant for the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at ACU for several years of her college education, and now serves her alma mater as an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition.
